WELCOME!
Each year we grow stronger because of the involvement and generosity of our members, more than 950 families including empty-nesters and singles from all walks of life and over 15 towns. We are there for each other in our quiet moments of grief, our moments of celebration and all the ritual and ordinary moments in between.
Our Senior Rabbi Joel Sisenwine touches our personal moments and the larger universe as a leader in the local and national community. Our Cantor Jodi Sufrin inspires us and the greater community with her glorious voice in song, and her pastoral care. Our Assistant Rabbi Rachel Saphire is active in so many areas: building a vibrant 20’s and 30’s group, helping our Bat Mitzvah kids, working to create new initiatives to “raise healthy kids” to name but a few.
There are so many avenues to get involved at Temple Beth Elohim, from social action to learning; from chavarot to men's softball, our list is endless. Our dedicated staff and lay leaders continue to create ways for our congregation to enjoy one another, enabling our hearts and minds to grow in so many directions.
I look forward to our praying, learning, celebrating and of course giving back as a truly blessed community!
Shalom,
Mike Levinger
